Selling My Lands In Second Life

Yes, I have decided to sell my lands in Second Life. I do his with mixed emotions, nostalgia being the strongest. I have Several reasons to do this.

  1. My financial situation changed a bit for the worse, making me having to redefine my spending patterns on hobbies / pastimes.
  2. After the sudden popularity of my blog, I find it unwise to keep my lands. It would no be the first time that someone gets griefed or spied upon, because (s)he is different. And I have no use for the second life gestapo Abuse Reporting me for every meter I move.
  3. A part of my ground had been filled with overlaying garbage of other users. Some of he garbage overlapping my ground, and due to the nature, I was no able to clean it up. The owner of the lands has not been on Second Life for over a year, and linden labs refuses to do anything about the visible junk. Fortunately, that part is all ready sold.
  4. There are other little things, like the Euro VAT thing, and other irritations linden lab gives me now a day.

Each of them would not be enough to sell my lands, but everything together makes the choice an easy one. Except for the land on the waterfront, Everything is more or less sold. Thanks to land bots, who are buying land 24/7. Bu for water fronts, I paid more and therefore want more back.

On the water front I have a 2048 m² and a 1232 m² for sale. I like to ge L$ 12,5 / m² for hem but I will settle for L$ 10 / m², if one mentions my blog.

I have been thinking of giving up Second Life all together, but that not only sends the wrong message, I would also miss my friends.

  1. Sometimes a whole lotta words aren’t necessary to express how ones feels. I think this sucks, but I also understand. I’ll be holding on tight to the memories I got and be looking forward to making new ones.
